Addison Singers Summer Concert
Saturday 13 July 2019, 7.30pm, St Peter’s Church, Southfield Road, W4 1BB
First performance of a new commission by Zillah, a setting of the beautiful poem ‘Hymn’ by Joseph Addison. The piece was part of a year of new commissions with composers Michael Berkeley and Howard Goodall also writing new pieces for the Addison Singers for their Spring and Christmas concerts.
Parry and Beyond – a celebration of English choral music

Zillah’s piece A Red Red Rose received a very warm reception at this varied programme of English choral music past and present.

Isle of Man Concert Tour

Zillah’s piece A Red, Red Rose was performed as part of the two concert programmes in collaboration with the Tallis Consort and the Manx Ladies’ choir.

Ephemeral Pools Exhibition

Exhibition by landscape photographer Matt Botwood featuring atmospheric watery reflections captured in pine forests near his home in the Brecon Beacons. The exhibition includes short videos set to music by Zillah. See the Music page and Matt’s website for more information about the collaboration.

The Composer’s Voice

An evening of music and discussion to mark International Women’s Day organised by the London Composer’s Forum with a programme of music by female composers including a new piece by Zillah, 17 Haiku for Women, performed by the Barley Singers.
Dance with the Winds
Wednesday 11th October 2017, 7.30pm, Herne Hill School, South London
A further performance at the Herne Hill Musical Festival of new music and dance pieces created in collaboration with dancers and choreographers from the London Contemporary Dance School, composers and the London Consort of Winds. The concert included a second performance of a piece composed by Zillah called The Sea Witch, choreographed by Alistair Wroe.
Wedding of Sophie Rose Reid and Timothy Oladapo-Ogunlesi

A new choral piece, A Red, Red Rose written by Zillah especially for the occasion was given its first performance by the Addison Chamber Choir at Sophie and Tim’s wedding. Sophie chose the text by Robert Burns.
Contemporary Dance Performance with music performed by the London Consort of Winds

A performance of brand new contemporary dance pieces created in collaboration with dancers and choreographers from the London Contemporary Dance School, composers and the London Consort of Winds. The performance includes a new work written by Zillah for the project called The Sea Witch.

A joint concert with five other choirs who will all perform a selection of Shakespeare’s music including the premiere of Zillah’s setting of Sonnet 73, That Time of Year.

Bude Choral Society Advent Concert
